IS EXTREMELY GAY
Due to gayness, this league has been eliminated

Based in Depew Senior High School, a suburb of Buffalo, New York, the Academy Cup is a scholastic league in which men compete against each other in school tests to receive the highest grades possible.

Based on a predetermined schedule men will compete against one other man each "week" (test). The object of the Academy Cup is to get a higher grade than your competitor. The man who receives the higher grade on the test will receive a win, the other a loss. In the event that both men get the same grade it is a tie. 2 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a tie, and 0 for a loss.

The top six point men will receive a bid to the Academy Cup playoffs where those who do not make the playoffs, play in consolation Bowl games. (Division winners are automatic 1 or 2 seeds). The man who survives the playoffs will be declared the Academy Cup Champion and will have their name inscribed on the Cup.

How it all got started

It all started on a cold, windy November day. The men of the sophmore honors classes had just received their Course III Math tests back. Everybody did well except for one person. And that person was Neal "Homo" Turvey. He got a 6 out of 50 or a 12%. This wasn't the first time Neal had troubles. The guys got to thinking, "Is there anything we can do to help Neal, give him some motivation?" Right there, the Academy Cup was born. A schedule was made where the 12 men would face off against each other to push each other to get higher grades.

It has now grown into a phenomenon of an event(YA RIGHT), almost an obsession for all of the players. Everybody who's anybody knows what the Academy Cup is now. It's a dream, it's a way of life. It's an inspiration. It's anything you want it to be. This is.... Academy Cup!
